06/16/2006 - ISSAQUAH, WA - North American Energy Services Company (NAES), a broad-based provider of services to the power generation industry, announced today that it commenced operations and maintenance (O&M) services for the Bridgeport Energy Facility and the Casco Bay Energy Facility. Bridgeport and Casco Bay are owned by LS Power Generation, LLC, a member of the LS Power group.
Bridgeport Energy Facility is a nominal 490 MW combined-cycle electric generating facility located in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The plant features two Siemens V84.3 combustion turbines and one Siemens steam turbine generator. The Facility achieved commercial operations (simple cycle mode) in August 1998 and sells its capacity and energy into the wholesale market within the New England sub-region of NPCC.
Casco Bay Energy Facility is a nominal 520 MW combined-cycle electric generating facility located in Veazie, Maine. The plant features two GE Frame 7FA combustion turbines and one GE D11 steam turbine generator. The Facility achieved commercial operations in May 2000 and sells its capacity and energy into the wholesale market within the New England sub-region of NPCC.
