Issaquah, WA, 07/09/2007 -- ISSAQUAH, WA - NAES Power Contractors, a wholly-owned subsidiary of North American Energy Services Company (NAES), a broad-based provider of services to the power generation industry, announces that it has contracted with Energy Northwest to construct a concrete containment structure that will house new fish screens being installed in the Packwood Hydroelectric Project tailrace.
The Packwood Lake Hydroelectric Project is located in Lewis County, Washington, in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, approximately 20 miles south of Mt. Rainier. There are two power plant structures at the lake: a small diversion dam and an intake structure downstream from the lake outlet. NAES Power Contractors is owned by NAES, the generation industry's leading independent, third-party provider of operations and maintenance services.
NAES is owned by ITOCHU International Inc., the U.S. affiliate of ITOCHU Corporation. With operations in over 80 countries covering a broad range of industries, ITOCHU is among the world's largest corporations.
