ISSAQUAH, WA (April 1, 2025) – NAES is excited to announce Nancy Armstrong as the Technical Program Director of Energy & Robotics. She is charged with leading the company’s strategic partnership with Gecko Robotics.
“I am excited to be at the forefront of NAES’ technological evolution,” Nancy said. “This partnership with Gecko Robotics represents a significant leap forward in how we approach our asset integrity and operational efficiency. I’m committed to ensuring a seamless collaboration, driving innovation and delivering tangible results to NAES through the strategic deployment of cutting-edge technology.”
In her role, Nancy will oversee NAES’ investment in technology and represent our interests in the NAES x Gecko Partnership. Nancy will serve as the primary liaison between NAES and Gecko Robotics, ensuring seamless collaboration and technology deployment. She will join the Senior Leadership Team, reporting directly to the CEO.
“In Nancy’s 17-year career with NAES and her previous role as Director of Fleet Services, she has demonstrated a deep understanding of Energy Services O&M, power plant operations and our related service offerings,” NAES President and CEO Mark Dobler said. “She established solid relationships with many of our Plant Managers and Operations Directors which will serve her well as we deploy technology to the field for testing and commercial service. I am confident she will be successful in her new assignment, working alongside our Gecko partners and fostering a strong team-oriented environment between our two companies.”
NAES and Gecko announced a partnership earlier this year to deploy AI and robotics to transform the American power grid. The goal of the partnership is to modernize power plants to meet the growing energy demand across the country. Read more about the partnership and its impact here.
